From cake smashing to cake fights, let’s just say our 5th Birthday Sale shoot was filled with all the action you could possibly imagine. We worked with five gorgeous members of our Female Family to create a campaign like never before with all the fun-filled birthday party antics included!
This year was our 5th Birthday so it’s a pretty big deal and we want our Loungers everywhere to be a part of this milestone with us. So, come and see what we got up to and don’t worry - everyone ate their body weight in smashed cake at the end. It was too good not to!
BTS OF OUR 5TH BIRTHDAY SALE SHOOT
The shoot was an early one and of course, with all the cakes we had, let’s just say the day didn’t end as tidy as it started! We had the opportunity to shoot with a few recognisable faces across our Female Family with Adison Justis, Dakota Fink, Steph Rayner, Amina Aurdrey and Muriel Villera. As always, these girls were a pleasure to work with and are quite the beauties.
It was a very busy day with all the content we had to cover including stills, the campaign itself, BTS shots and even a TikTok or two. Exhausting? Yes. Worth it? Totally.
FIRST THING'S FIRST: THE GLAM
Equally the best part. Who doesn’t like to get glammed up now and again?
Our girls arrived with their hair and make-up done to help support COVID restrictions, but there’s always time for a touch up! And we have to say, they’re so good, they may as well be professionals themselves!. Lights...camera...cake!
THE CAKE FIGHT
Now, this was the part that required some serious planning.
We had cake. And quite a lot of it. We had to make sure we got all of the content we needed of the girls with the cakes before we actually got down to the fun part. Once the cake fights started, there was no going back. As always, our girls uplifted each other and had the best time on-set. And of course, they got to eat a bit of leftover cake at the end of the day. Make up? Hair? Free cake? Sounds like the perfect day in our opinion.
THE FINISHED PRODUCT
After a very long day on set, multiple cups of coffee and all the cake you could possibly imagine, our 5th Birthday Sale shoot was complete.
This was equally one of the best shoots we’ve ever done as a brand and as always, we’re thankful to our girls for helping us bring this concept to life and to YOU, our Loungers, for sticking by us every step of the way.
